The number eight (8) is a lucky number for the Chinese. The last upstroke when you write the number which symbolizes prosperity, as well as its symbol for infinity bears special meaning for wedding couples wanting to make their love and marriage last a lifetime.

So it must be especially meaningful when the date has three eights (8) in its number. That date is August (8) 8, 2008, a date so fortuitous in fact that couples have been planning to get married by this date, years before. So lucky business in the wedding industry has been booked on this date so well in advance their no longer taking any reservations.

We have our own wedding event for this date and we were tasked to style the wedding itself at the prestigious Monte de Portofino along Daang Hari going to Cavite.

New Designs

Its been a hectic month for us this August. We had two weddings within days of each other. The first one last August 6 from an avant garde couple not hesitant to try out new and interesting designs for the bridal bouquet and florals for the entire entourage.
