Weddings at Vivere

Last Aug 28 we had another opportunity to provide the floral set decorations for Michele’s Christian wedding at Vivere Hotel in Alabang. The couple opted for floral decorations for both the altar piece and wedding venue plus all floral decorations and pieces at their wedding reception.

Needles to say by choosing both the wedding venue and reception in one place, they spared their guests and sponsors from shuttling from one venue to the other. Talk about convenience! Also the couple was well taken cared off by the hotel’s professional staff and helped ensure the wedding itself and all its details go accomplished without a hitch.

For our part we made the floral decorations match the couples choice of color which was purple. We had the pleasure to decorate many weddings at Vivere and the first was posted here also. Vic and Hera Nuptials

Last August 8 we had the enviable pleasure to cover a most beautiful wedding by a couple who exude both brash elegance and understated simplicity. In a very unique theme of black and white they had they’re wedding at Edsa Shangri-La and and as you can see in our exclusive photo album we tried to convey the understated elegance of the whole affair.

2nd Southern Bridal Fair

 

We participated in 2nd Southern Bridal Fair held last May 29-31 at the Festival Mall in Alabang. We did the floral arrangement for the two entrance and also the bouquets used by the models. This was our first time to participate in the south and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The people we talked to were nice and we were able to get several bookings for weddings.

If you are a couple planning on a dream wedding and are looking for supplies for the big day, it would be a good idea to go to these events. Usually wedding suppliers will give considerable discounts on their products at these shows.

We ourselves offered a 20 percent discount on all our floral packages just for the show. So hopefully next time we’ll get to see you at one of these shows.

AnneLyn's Wedding

Our second wedding was held last May 9 and the bride in this case chose very vivid and very beautiful Ecuadorian roses. These roses are larger than the standard roses available locally and require a much cooler temperature for it to stay in its pristine condition.

For the entourage the couple decided on a theme around the colors turquoise and yellow, a decidedly unique and fetching combination!

Elvie's Wedding

May is a hectic month for us with many couples having weddings this month as the last month of sunny weather before the rainy season in June.

This month we had 2 weddings within a couple of days of each other. Our first wedding, was a renewal of wedding vows. For her wedding Elvie chose hydrangeas with snapdragons for her bouquet with the bouquets for her entourage a matching royal blue and silver.

Edna's Wedding

Seems like tulips for the bridal bouquet are getting popular with couples this year. This is the second arrangement we did that included this very beautiful flower.

Tulips are very versatile as they come in a wide variety of colors. However due to our climate and careless handling will make them open prematurely. Proper care should be taken and they should be refrigerated immediately prior to use.

Also included in this series are our arrangement for the rest of the bride's entourage.

Reception/Honeymoon at Nature's Spa Tagaytay

In our last post (see below) we mentioned a wedding held near Tagaytay where we did the church decoration. The couple were truly inspired when they chose Nature's Spa in Tagaytay as their venue for their reception as well as honeymoon.

In one beautiful place, they were able to hold their reception and they didnt have to worry about going back home since they chose an overnight package that allowed them to partake of the amenities of the place.

Nature's Spa provides a venue for events as well as overnight accomodation with breakfast, lunch and dinner packages. The package even include, for couples joint spa sessions and relaxing massages.
